Metallica returns to Abu Dhabi for the Etihad Park Stage
The Abu Dhabi concert is part of the M72 world tour, dedicated to the release of their eleventh studio album, "72 Seasons," which has already received critical acclaim and earned the band a Grammy Award. The M72 tour is known for its revolutionary format: a giant ring-shaped stage is located in the center of the venue, and the famous "Snake Pit" is located right at its heart for the most devoted fans. This design provides a unique 360-degree view, creating an indescribable feeling of presence and unity with the heroes.
For the tens of thousands of spectators who will gather at Etihad Park—the largest outdoor concert venue in the region—this will be an unforgettable evening. The event is unique in that it will combine the roar of Formula 1 engines with the crushing energy of heavy metal. Fans will be able to hear classic hits that have become anthems for generations—"Enter Sandman," "Master of Puppets," and "Nothing Else Matters"—as well as new compositions.
Metallica's performance is more than just a post-race concert; it's a large-scale event in its own right, attracting not only motorsports fans but also connoisseurs of high-quality heavy music from around the world to Abu Dhabi. The return of these rock titans to the Yasalam After-Race Concerts stage after such a long break guarantees an evening filled with drive, powerful sound, and emotions that will remain in the memory for a long time.
