Metallica to Perform in Abu Dhabi This Winter

Metallica have sold 57 million albums in the United States alone, and even more outside the United States. They have sold just over 90 million albums, making them one of the most commercially successful heavy metal bands in history. The band's drummer used the word "Metallica" as the name of a new band, which he recruited Hetfield to join. The band's fast-paced production, instrumental virtuosity, and aggressive musicianship made them one of the founding "big four" thrash metal bands, along with Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer. They have released several multi-platinum albums, including 1991's Metallica (commonly referred to as "The Black Album"), which has sold almost 17 million copies in the United States alone, making it the best-selling album in history. Metallica have also received numerous awards and accolades, including nine Grammy Awards, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Museum in 2009.

In the early days, Metallica created special sections at concerts for fans who wanted to record their concerts. Metallica was known for its uncompromising style throughout the 1980s. In 1991, the band became more popular, performing shorter songs that attracted more attention, although they retained their unique style.

In total, the band employs 83 personal assistants at all times – a huge team that still travels everywhere for the no longer young musicians. During the creative musical tours, which the group goes on with enviable frequency, each member of Metallica has his own chef and dentist, and Lars Ulrich even has a special girl who turns his computer on and off.

Over the years of its existence, the group has gone through many crises and dizzying ups. However, no one doubts that this is one of the greatest rock bands of our time!
