Jennifer began her creative career at the age of five, when she became interested in singing and dancing. However, it was her acting career that first brought her popularity. In 1995, she made her film debut with the movie "My Family", where she immediately attracted attention as a promising star. However, music has always remained an important part of her life. Real success came to her in 1997 after the leading role in the biographical drama "Selena", for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe.
In 1999, Jennifer took a step onto the music scene, releasing her debut album "On the 6". The songs from this album quickly gained popularity, and the hit "If You Had My Love" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five weeks in a row. In 2001, her second album "J.Lo" was released, which cemented her nickname J. Lo. Singles from this album, such as "Love Don't Cost a Thing" and "I'm Real", reached the top of the American charts. In 2002, she released a remix album "J to tha L-O!: The Remixes", which became the first of its kind to reach number one on the charts and entered the Guinness Book of Records.
After 2010, Jennifer decided to take a break from her music career, focusing on film and family, raising twins from her second marriage. In 2024, she returned to music again, delighting fans with her ninth album "This Is Me ... Now", which was warmly received by listeners.
