Enrique Iglesias to perform at Etihad Arena
Enrique Iglesias, a true giant of the pop industry, has sold more than 180 million albums worldwide. His creative portfolio includes eleven studio albums and three best-of albums. He has also headlined ten world tours, attracting more than 10 million spectators.
Starting his career under the name Enrique Martinez, Iglesias quickly gained popularity. His debut album, dedicated to his nanny Elvira, brought him fame. Enrique Iglesias made a successful debut on the English-speaking market in 1999, when Latin pop music was at the peak of its popularity. His album "Enrique" with the hits "Bailamos" and "Be With You" took first place in the United States. Unlike many of his colleagues, Iglesias has remained in demand in the new millennium. In 2001, he released the album "Escape" with the famous track "Hero", which received diamond status in the charts. Thanks to experiments with R&B and EDM, his name continues to flash on the Billboard charts. In 2013, the single "Turn The Night Up" strengthened his position as the most successful male artist, ahead of Michael Jackson and Prince. The album "Sex & Love" in 2014 continued this trend, presenting collaborations with such stars as Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Minogue, as well as a combination of songs in Spanish and English.
Today, Enrique Iglesias successfully combines creativity with family life and hobbies. He is actively involved in charity work, supporting funds to help children with serious illnesses and participating in UNICEF campaigns. At the same time, he is developing the restaurant business and is the face of the clothing brand "Audemars Piguet", collaborating with fashion companies.
