He gained fame thanks to the "People's Artist" contest in 2003, where he took third place. At the same time, he won the audience award on the Europa Plus radio station, and since then, Alexey has not left his popularity. Alexey remembered them, and then the mysticism continued in his more mature age and even manifested itself in his career growth. After that, he tried himself as an actor, starring in several episodic roles in TV series, as well as in the romantic comedy "I'll Get Married Urgently". Chumakov tried his hand at artistic skills and even organized exhibitions of his own paintings, and still continues to paint for the soul.

At the moment, Chumakov is full of creative plans and actively tours Russia and neighboring countries. 2025 began for him with concerts in Tashkent, Shymkent, Chelyabinsk and Baku with a new program "Acoustics".
