Abu Dhabi to host Euroleague Final Four in May 2025

The leading European clubs will compete for the championship title: Barcelona, Olympiacos, Anadolu Efes, Zalgiris, Baskonia, Panathinaikos, Fenerbahce, Bayern, Real Madrid, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Olympia Milan, ASVEL, Monaco, Crvena Zvezda, Virtus Bologna, Alba, Paris and Partizan.

Recall that in 2024, the winner of the Euroleague was Greek Panathinaikos, confidently beating Real Madrid with a score of 95:80. The final was held in Berlin at the Uber Arena, which hosted this prestigious event for the third time. The Athenian club has cemented its reputation as one of the strongest in the last two decades. In the 2012/2013 season, their matches were attended by over 25,000 spectators, which speaks to the incredible popularity of the team. The club's symbol is a shamrock, reflecting the harmony of spirit and body, and their matches are famous for their spectacularity and intensity.

A separate chapter in the history of Panathinaikos is their rivalry with the Russian BC CSKA. The conflict between the clubs escalated in 2007, when the "army men" signed Ramunas Siskauskas, a player who a year earlier brought the Greeks victory over CSKA in the Euroleague final. Unfortunately, Russian clubs, including CSKA, are not participating in the current season for obvious reasons.
