Leonid Agutin to give concert in Dubai

In 1994, after winning the Jurmala Festival, Agutin released his first studio album, "Barefoot Boy". After that, the artist literally woke up famous, and since then fame has been his eternal companion. Agutin's voice, in which there seems to be a smile hidden, his music with Latin motifs - all this distinguishes the singer from his colleagues on the Russian stage, makes him recognizable. The debut album rose in the charts, and Agutin received the Golden Gramophone award in the nominations "Singer of the Year", "Song of the Year" and "Album of the Year". The album included the hits "Hop-hey, la-la-ley" and "Voice of the High Grass", which the whole country knew by heart. At the same time, Agutin embarked on his first tour of Russia, and, in his own words, was amazed by his own popularity with the people.

The album "Cosmopolitan Life", recorded in Miami in 2005, was an attempt to enter international markets. Although it was a huge success in Germany, the attempt to conquer Italy, Eastern Europe and the United States in the same way was unsuccessful. However, the 2008 documentary "Cosmopolitan Live" about Agutin and Di Meola, which showed footage of their performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, contributed to the growth of his popularity in Germany.

Having taken time out to raise his daughter, Agutin returned in 2012 with "The Time of the Last Romantics", and since that year has regularly appeared as an authoritative mentor on the Russian television version of "The Voice". He continued to record during this period, and a 2018 cover included a percussion version of The Beatles' "Come Together." The following year, Agutin helped his second daughter Liza record an album at the Criteria Hit Factory in Miami, before beginning filming for the 2020 album "La Vida Cosmopolita."
