UAE to host Men's Tennis Championships in 2025

The list of players in both the men's and women's tournaments (the last of which began in 2001) features the best athletes: Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Iga Swiatek, Jasmine Paolini, Elina Svitolina, Martina Hingis, Amelie Mauresmo and others. As part of the 33rd tournament, the organizers offer spectators only the most exciting matches of the world's best rackets at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, which seats five thousand people.

In the men's doubles final, Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor and German Jan-Lennard Struff narrowly beat Croatian Ivan Dodig and American Austin Krajicek 6-4, 4-6, [10-6]. After a couple of breaks of serve to level the first two sets, Griekspoor and Straff came from 3-1 down in the deciding super tiebreak to win nine of the last 12 points to claim their first Dubai title and share the $180,700 prize money.

It was eventually voted “Best Venue” by the ATP World Tour. The stadium is equipped for both the general public and VIPs, with a VIP area and royal fencing. Its hall is also used for concerts, and musicians such as Enrique Iglesias, Sting, Boyzone and many others regularly come to the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium stage with their concerts.
