The long-awaited rematch between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usyk will take place at the Kingdom Arena in December

Oleksandr Usyk, known for his victories over such illustrious opponents as Dereck Chisora, Anthony Joshua (twice) and Daniel Dubois, scored an impressive victory over Tyson Fury in May of this year. Since then, Fury has been striving for a rematch, in which he hopes to take revenge. Despite the fact that Fury has more impressive dimensions and physical strength, Usyk managed to turn the tide of the fight in his favor, delivering a crushing blow in the ninth round that caused the "Gypsy King" to stagger and fall to the floor. The win allowed Usyk to join Terence Crawford and Naoya Inoue as the only male boxers to hold undisputed titles in two weight classes in the four-belt era, having previously held the undisputed cruiserweight title.

Part of a famous boxing dynasty, Tyson Fury began his boxing journey at an early age, taking the sport seriously under his father’s tutelage at the age of ten. His talent quickly became apparent, as he became the EU Junior Champion in 2007 and the ABA National Champion in 2008 before turning professional at the age of 20. A two-time world heavyweight champion, Fury is undefeated in 35 professional fights, with the exception of a draw with Deontay Wilder in 2018 and a loss to Usyk. His popularity is evidenced by his more than 11 million followers on social media, as well as his appearance on a Netflix docuseries about his life outside the ring, which has been renewed for a second season after debuting in 2023.
