Saudi Arabian Super Cup final: the main football event in the UAE!
The highly anticipated Saudi Arabian Super Cup final will take place on April 11 at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an annual football event organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, which attracts the attention of millions of fans from all over the world.
The Saudi Arabian Super Cup was founded in 2013 and, starting with the 2022-23 season, has become a four-team competition: the winners and runners-up of the King's Cup and the Professional League. The league champions compete against the Copa del Rey winners, and if one team wins both titles in the same season, second place in the league replaces that team.
The final consists of two periods of 45 minutes each, known as halves. If the score remains tied after 90 minutes, the winner will be determined in a penalty shootout. Each team will fight until the last moment to win the prestigious Saudi Arabian Super Cup.
Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium is a multi-sports complex with a capacity of 42,056 spectators. It is actively used for football and cricket matches, and is also the home arena of the Al Jazeera football club. The name of the stadium is given in honor of the outstanding Emir of Abu Dhabi, Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
