Description
Al Raed Club Stadium, located in the King Abdullah Sports City in Buraydah, is a major sports venue with a capacity of 34,000 spectators. The stadium is home to Al Taawun, Al Raed and Al Hazem football clubs, which play in the Saudi Professional League.
The first official match at the stadium was held on December 24, 1982, between Al Taawun and Al Tai, which ended with a score of 1-1. This historic match attracted 10,000 spectators and saw the first goal, which unfortunately turned out to be an own goal by one of the Al Tai defenders.
